Ajrakh Handblock Prints : An Ancient Craft
Ajrakh is an ancient block printing technique popular in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Sindh. It is known for its cultural richness and varied symmetrical motifs printed on cotton & silk fabrics. This craft primarily uses natural dyes made from indigo, madder, pomegranate bark, seeds, jaggery, camel dung and many natural ingredients bring vibrant colours, by stamping the printed blocks on the plain fabric give a unique texture to it. We have an impressive collection of handmade Ajrakh block printed designer stoles in varying colours and designs. A fusion of organic cotton fabric and natural dyes, these stoles have been made with special love and care by our skilled artisans from the Dhamdaka village of the arid Kutch region in Gujarat, India.
